not a boat
but rather an experimental web audio utility to cut out threshold crossing portions of a sound file.
unlike a gate, skipper takes the brash initiative to truncate the resulting audio.
delete the trespassers and stitch the previous and prior segments together as if
nothing ever happened...

instructions

1. upload a .wav file (other formats forth coming)
2. adjust maximum threshold with "max threshold" slider or click dragging on waveform to adjust red line.
   portions of audio exceeding this threshold will be removed
3. optionally adjust minimum threshold with "min threshold" slider. portions falling below will be removed.
4. click "process audio." listen and view results
5. make additional operations, undo, redo
6. download your work of art
