Litter is everywhere in LA. It's endless. It's not something we could have a volunteer cleaning group fix if they hit the streets for an entire week; there is simply too much. Everyone seems to ignore it. This bothers me.
If you didn't already know, I have been working on a blog called Litter Aesthetics. Litter Aesthetics is a series of 100 case studies of litter I have noticed in LA. For every case, I take a picture and then create an experimental piece of music to express it. Today I hit my 50th post. When finished, I plan to curate the most cohesive bunch (perusing what I've done so far you will quickly discover that these case studies are as varied musically as the litter) and present them with intermingled commentary.
